Literature
- M. Barovier, La vetreria M.V.M. e il giovane Carlo Scarpa, Milano, Skira, 2018, p. 532 (catalog drawing)

The model was originally designed by Vittorio Zecchin for VSM Cappellin-Venini, but in 1930-31 - when Carlo Scarpa was art director of MVM Cappellin - the manufacturer made a new series of transparent glasses. Some of these "were made in an elegant yet classic monochrome, mostly purple and Savoy blue" (see M. Barovier, La vetreria M.V.M. e il giovane Carlo Scarpa, p. 71). The presence of the three-line acid stamp and the color lead us to suppose that the object belongs to this production
