On the occasion of the 5th International Fair Arte in Nuvola, Galleria Abscondita staged a cross-disciplinary visual conversation, blurring the lines between fine art and decorative arts.
The selection highlighted three thematic intersections:
Gesture & Transparency: The organic fluidity of Jonas Noël Niedermann’s contemporary glass entered a tactile dialogue with the historic spatial investigations of Carla Accardi, Luigi Boille, and Gino Marotta.
The Poetics of Silence: A meditative section paired the vibrant, idealized ruins of Salvo with the smooth, silent geometries of Flavio Poli and Ivan Baj, alongside the ceramic essentialism of Lara De Sio.
Image & Fragment: The frenetic, televised landscapes of Mario Schifano found an unexpected structural echo in the intricate, mosaic-like murrine of Massimo Nordio, all viewed through the poetic perspective of a Cy Twombly photograph.
A celebration of the continuity between historical heritage and contemporary research
